Re: Ominöse Distantzscheibe für Dr. Pulley Rollen - wohin..?
TomRo, there is an alternative. I had a Polini 6-roller variator in my GTS250 for many years. I transferred it to my GTS300, and it destroyed my crankcase gasket. I have never heard of a Polini doing this before. I switched to sliders, but missed the Polini performance. So instead of fitting fuzzy washers, I installed a GT200 belt with the Polini.
The results took me completely by surprise. I am now doing wheelies, and have more power at 120 kph pulling uphill. Acceleration is great at any speed. I don't know about top speed as I never haver the opportunity to do over about 135kph on a slight downhill.
A shorter belt is recommended for the Costa and Zelioni variatiors, and the new Polini tuning kit comes with a shorter belt. Give it a try!
